July 26 – Week I
Week 1 is in the books and everyone had a fantastic time in Santa Fe. The weather was beautiful, the grounds were fantastic, everyone was excited to be here, and the horses were awesome! Giselle won both of her performance classes, Trentino won both of his 1st Year classes, The Heist won the 1.10M, and Corlensky G II won the 1.30M.

Other Brawley highlights of the week include Bob winning the Welcome Prix on Condero 3 and multiple championships…Trentino was Champion in the 1st Year Green Hunters, Amadeo was Champion in the Performance Hunters, and Giselle was Reserve Champion in the Performance Hunters! Delaney Torti and Giselle who were Reserve Champion in the Amateur Owner Hunters and 2nd in the classic! Diane DeMatteo won her first DUAL Championship!! She was champion on Trentino and Reserve Champion on Amadeo in the Modified Adult Hunters.

August 3- Week II
What an awesome second week in Santa Fe for Brawley Farms! There were multiple Championships and classic wins:

Amadeo owned by DDM Equestrian LLC-Champion 3’3″ Performance Hunter for the second week ridden by Bob.

Trentino, owned by DDM Equestrian LLC, was Champion 1st yr Green Hunter winning every single class ridden by Bob and he was also Champion in the Modified Adult Hunter ridden by Diane DeMatteo.

Giselle was Reserve Champion of the 3’6″ Performance Hunter ridden by Bob and Champion A/O Hunter with Delaney, winner of the A/O classic, and winner of the Pro/Am Team Hunter Class.

Caymus won Champion Adult Hunter with Dana and winner of the Adult Hunter Classic

Trapatoni was third in the High Adult Jumper classic with Michael DeMatteo.

The Heist placed second and third with Keyea Webster for their first time in the 1.20m Modified Amateur Jumpers.

Carlson V, MTM Magnum, Obelix, Articulate, Condero 3, and Corlensky G II all had great rounds as well, placing in just about every class!

Congrats to our Jumper Riders
A huge shout out and congratulations to our jumper riders who all moved up and jumped bigger courses in Santa Fe!! Michael DeMatteo did a fantastic job in the 1.20M Ride and Drive on Trapatoni, Melissa Watt and Carlson V moved up to the Low A/O Jumpers and put in a ton of consistent rounds, and Keyea Webster and The Heist moved up to the Modified Jr/Am Jumpers. Keyea’s results speak for themselves as she also captured the Modified Jr/Am Championship week 3!!

I think it’s unanimous when I say we are all sad that our time in Santa Fe is over. It was an incredible 3 weeks!! Here are a few Brawley Farms stats:
