Here’s a recap of our results at the Texas Shoot Out horse show:

Sophie Pasternak and Bada Bing (Bentley) were the Brawley superstars. They won 4 classes and were champion in the Modified Childrens Hunters. Bentley was also champion in the Special Low Hunters with Bob!

Crown Prince continued to build on his successful show career…with a 1st, 2nd, and two 3rds in the Baby Green Hunters he brought home the reserve championship!

Jessica Brady and Say What (Ricky) had a fantastic round in the Childrens Eq over Fences to end up 3rd out of 23 riders. They were also 6th in the Junior Eq flat.

Delaney Torti and Giselle had a great week. They were 2nd in the Childrens/Adult Eq on the Flat out of 20 riders. They also finished 3rd in the Junior Eq flat and received nice ribbons in the large older Children’s Hunter division.

Keyea Webster’s Cote D’Azur (Bomber) made his horse show debut at this show and was fantastic! He was 5th, 7th, and 8th in the Baby Green Hunters.

Michael DeMatteo showed both Cohiba and his catch-ride Bravado this week. He was 8th in the High Adult Jumper classic and had a clear round in the 1.0M class on Cohiba. He also improved with every go on Bravado and ended up 7th and 8th in the Low Adult Jumpers.

Amadeo (Casanova) and Bob received nice ribbons in the 3’6″ Performance Hunters and just missed making the cut in the Derby.

We’re looking forward to doing it all again next week at the Lone Star Round Up show. Good luck to all!!
